We Love Tunica Hills!

We had the best time Friday! I took the day off & we went up to Tunica Hills to hike & just relax. You know, I wasn't in as bad of shape as I thought I would be. Rachel is all gung ho in this picture, that was on the way in. Coming out, she seemed to collapse on the last hill! Can't wait to go back!!Posted by Hello

Gotta Love It!

Yesterday we had high speed internet installed....oh my goodness, it is awesome! David also went out & purchased a router so that Jon can do his X-box live & he can have wireless connection on his laptop. Yes, we are starting to venture out into the world of technology! And the cool thing is, we were able to figure out how to set up the router!! Yes, the Walters are moving on up! Whew hoo!!!

Break out the Tissues!!

My mind wanders too much. Tonight at the View, which was absolutely AWESOME, Robert mentioned his age, 37. Then went on doing his normal, moving service. Well, after most of the kids had left and Jon was watching some game, I start thinking about Robert's message and BING-a thought comes in my head. Robert said he was 37. Now what I hear is, Robert said I was 5 years older than him!! Oh my goodness--now I realize that I am like the oldest person in the View. How am I going to handle all that pressure, you know with the wisdom thing? Great, now I have a complex, thanks Robert!!!!!

Oh, How I Love Wednesdays!

Have I told you lately how much I love Wednesdays? I wish everday was Wednesday. Years ago, I used to love work and was so shocked when I went back to work, after a 10 year break with kids. Corporate America is an ugly place to be. There is so much greed and so many only looking out for #1--the wrong #1. I would think at some point it will have to give & go back to the way it used to be. But I seem to be blinded from all of that on Wednesdays. It's my day of rejuvination! I can walk around the workplace whistling, more than usual, and just so happy knowing that I get to go to church and see my friends & soak in the Word. I used to think that maybe I could make a difference in our office, not so sure now, but maybe. My mission, to change corporate America--one office at a time, maybe God put me here to make a difference. All I can say is, I must be on a very long mission!!! Oh, and by the way, I LOVE WEDNESDAYS!
